Meet Your Summerville Dentists, Dr. Jeanine Gourdine and Dr. Jeffrey Gourdine

Dr. Jeanine Gourdine

Dr. Jeanine Gourdine holds small town South Carolina dear as a native of Camden, SC where she was educated in the public school system.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Chemistry from Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC and continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, SC where she met her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Gourdine who also practices general dentistry. Dr. Gourdine attributes her path into dentistry to inspirational women who set positive examples and encouraged her to cultivate her strengths in leadership and the sciences.  Dr. Gourdine established the Smile Center of Knightsville, LLC in the small up and coming SC town of Summerville, affectionately known as Flowertown, in 2007.  The Smile Center services patients of all ages focusing on a variety of family and cosmetic procedures.  She takes pride in continuing her education in the field in order to offer the most up to date technologies and advanced techniques in dentistry to her patients.  Dr. Gourdine's mission in dentistry is and has always been to provide and promote quality oral healthcare to all members of the community regardless of socioeconomic status and to teach and inspire other dental professionals to do the same. Dr. Gourdine is active in various professional and civic organizations and still finds time to spend with her dog Snowball and cat, Favor.   


Dr. Jeffrey Gourdine

Dr. Jeffrey Gourdine received his Bachelor of Science degree (Pre-Dentistry) from Charleston Southern University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.  With more than a decade of experience, he absolutely loves the challenge and the science of dentistry and has devoted his time selflessly to the profession by offering early morning, late evening, and weekend appointments to his patients. Continuing his education in the field is of the utmost importance.  He also finds time to devote to his community by volunteering with local outreach programs and serving his church. In his spare time he enjoys exercising with his yellow Labrador retriever, Endo.
